Situated amidst the beautiful countryside of South Northamptonshire, Whittlebury Park Golf and Country Club comprises over 400 acres of gently rolling terrain and is listed as an area of Outstanding Natural beauty. The estate was originally established by Lord Southampton in 1820, by clearing part of the royal Whittlewood hunting forest to create a Deer Park.
A golf course was built on the Estate at the turn of the century and was run as a private club untill the advent of World War 1. In June 1992 the park was agin enjoyed by Golfers for the first time in 80 yearsThe 27 tournament standard holes have been constructed as three interchangeable loops of nine, to form several par 72 combinatoin courses of over 6600 yards, each having its own distinctive character and challenge to players of all standards.
