Sunmaster was formed in 1992 to take advantage of an idea we had that we could (through superior specialised knowledge) provide a suitable holiday quote fast and over the telephone. In 1992 most people would go to a travel agent and spend hours looking for holidays, the high street travel agent was and still is a bit of a jack of all trades (most sell all holidays and airfares). Our idea was that if we specialise in one area of travel, for example late bookings abroad, we would gain superior knowledge because our staff only have to learn about one thing, in other words if we do not fully know our product we will not book you on it - this serves two purposes: firstly, we only keep you on the telephone for less than 3 minutes; and secondly, we are more qualified to offer a holiday most suited to you the customer.
