Dannah Farm Country ltd
Dannah Farm is situated on a ridge dividing the Ecclesbourne from the Derwent Valley, recently designated a World Heritage site. We are a few hundred yards from Shottle village, part of the Chatsworth estates, and originally a royal deer park. The farm is midway between the lovely old market town of Wirksworth, steeped in history, and Belper - "Beau Repair", beautiful retreat. We are ideally placed to enjoy the many and varied attractions of the area, and are within half an hour's drive of Dovedale, Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon, the High Peak Trail, Crich Tramway museum, etc, etc - the list is endless!! We are also well placed for visiting the many factory shops in the area. Opened by Her Majesty the Queen, Carsington Water is close by, and offers numerous opportunities for leisure and watersports. The star of the show though is undoubtedly the countryside, and the area is criss-crossed with footpaths - a walker's paradise, perfect for those wanting peace, relaxation, and an escape from the stresses and strains of modern living.
